Reach the NilePath Heritage Team
Our researchers read every message personally. We aim to respond to all enquiries within two business days (Sunday–Thursday, Cairo time).
What We Can Help With
To ensure your message reaches the right person and receives the most useful response, here is a brief guide to what we handle well and how to frame your enquiry effectively.
New Subscriptions and Plan Changes
If you want to start a Standard, Professional, or Scholar membership, or transition between plans, the fastest path is to use the form below and select the relevant subject. We will respond with payment options and account activation details within one business day in most cases. For institutional Scholar plans, we may request a brief call to establish the right account structure for your organisation before activation.
Students requesting the discounted rate should include their institution name and student email address. Verification is handled by our team directly — you do not need to upload any documents through the form.
Corrections and Field Updates
We actively rely on visitors to flag outdated information — changed opening hours, newly introduced tickets, closed sections, or corrected historical details. This is genuinely useful to us and to all subsequent visitors. When submitting a correction, please include the specific guide (site name), the information you believe is inaccurate, what you observed instead, and the approximate date of your visit. We verify all flagged information independently before updating the guide.
If you observed a significant new development at a site — an excavation in progress, a newly opened gallery, a monument undergoing restoration — that sort of field intelligence is particularly valuable. Our quarterly update cycle cannot always capture events in real time, and visitor reports fill important gaps.
Institutional and Professional Enquiries
NilePath Heritage accepts a limited number of consultancy engagements each year — content development for cultural institutions, expert review for documentary and media projects, study tour itinerary design, and training workshops for tour guide organisations. If you are exploring a professional engagement, please provide a brief description of your project or programme, your timeline, and the type of involvement you are considering. We will respond with an initial assessment of whether we can assist and, if so, a call can be arranged.
We receive more institutional enquiries than we can take on. We prioritise projects with clear public benefit, strong editorial standards, and a genuine commitment to accurate, contextualised interpretation of Egyptian heritage.

Typical Questions Before Contacting Us
Membership and subscription enquiries are handled by our administrative team and typically receive a response the same business day or the following morning. Research enquiries and institutional matters are reviewed by a specialist and usually receive a first response within two business days. We do not use automated reply sequences — you will receive a genuine human response from a member of our team.
In-person visits to our office at 14 Talaat Harb Street are available by prior appointment for institutional clients and researchers engaged in consultancy projects. We are not set up for walk-in visitor enquiries. If you are in Cairo and wish to meet, please arrange this through the contact form or by email and we will schedule a time that works for both parties. The office is located in Downtown Cairo, accessible by metro (Sadat station, one minute on foot) and taxi from most parts of the city.
Yes, we welcome media enquiries and respond to requests for expert comment, data, and contextual information about Egypt's heritage sites and cultural institutions. Please use the contact form and select "Consultancy or media project" from the subject list. Include your publication, your deadline, and the specific questions or topics you are working with. We will assess whether we can assist and, where we can, provide a response in time for your deadline. We are familiar with editorial timelines and treat media requests with appropriate urgency.
We do publish new guides based on visitor interest and research capacity. If you are looking for a guide to a specific site that we do not currently cover, let us know through the contact form. We maintain a request log and use it when planning our annual research schedule. Sites requested by multiple visitors or institutions are prioritised for the next research cycle. We cannot commit to publishing a specific guide by a specific date, but your request will be recorded and will influence our planning.
We correspond primarily in English and Arabic. Our team includes native speakers of both. For institutional clients based in continental Europe, we can correspond in French and German at a basic level, though complex contractual or technical matters are handled in English. If you write to us in a language other than English or Arabic, we will do our best to respond appropriately or will acknowledge receipt and ask to continue in English.
